Meet your host

Hi, I'm Erica.

I'm a former school principal and teacher, and these days I'm home with my two boys, ages 2 and 7. We homeschool because I want them to have an excellent education and a real childhood, the freedom to follow their interests and learn what, when, and where we want, in a way that honors who they actually are.

Here's the part I didn't expect. As a teacher, I was great at being organized. I figured it would carry right over into homeschooling. It didn't. Running a home and a homeschool while being fully present for my kids turned out to be a different animal entirely.

What changed everything was realizing I had to be intentional about all three at once: me, my home, and my homeschool. Not perfect at any of them, just supported by simple systems I could actually sustain. That's the whole reason this community and the framework behind it exist.

I'm only a couple years into this myself, so I'm not teaching from a pedestal. I'm a few steps ahead, sharing what's working as I go, and I'd love to have you alongside me.
